Comments
When visitors leave comments on GameID, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture will be visible publicly next to your comment.
Media
If you upload images to GameID, please avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data contained in images on the site.

If you leave a comment on GameID, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These cookies help you avoid filling in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies last for one year.
When you visit our login page, we set a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.

How Long We Retain Your Data
Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely on GameID. This allows us to recognize and automatically approve any follow-up comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users who register on GameID, we store the personal information they provide in their user profiles. Users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except their username). Site administrators also have access to this information.
Your Rights Over Your Data
If you have an account on GameID or have left comments, you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, including any information you provided. You may also request that we erase your personal data, except data we must retain for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
